  • Every Sunday @ 9:00am: Adult Christian Education:  Each week we will explore a Sacred Story as it is written in scripture and lived out in and through our lives. 
  • Sunday's @ 5:00pm: Lenten Study: Begins on Feb. 5th and runs through April 15th (excluding Palm & Easter Sunday) from 5:00pm-7:00pm in the Parlor - Bring a bag supper and join us for a lively exploration and conversation about “Saving Jesus From the Church: How To Stop Worshiping Christ and Start Following Jesus”  by Robin Meyers.
  • Friday, March 9th  @ 3:00pm:  Listening to the Spirit: (The February 24th Session of Listening to the Spirit has been CANCELLED.  See you on March 9th)  ~~ If you are looking for a space in which you can explore spiritual  practices in the company of other seekers, check out the  Listening to the Spirit Group. Each session is divided into three parts: 1) Check-in - How is your heart? and Where have you encountered God (or not ) in these weeks?; 2) Practice a meditation or reflection using techniques from different faith practices; and  3)  Conversation - reflections and questions.

Ash Wednesday Service

Permanent Pastoral Search Committee's
"Table Talk" ~ Sunday, March 4th @ Noon 
The Permanent Pastoral Search Committee is moving forward in its effort to identify a new permanent pastor for the congregation of First Christian Church.  An extremely important part of this process is to solicit input from congregational members.  Your input will help us  get a clear picture of how we see ourselves and the ministry goals and expectations we have for our future together. It will also help define the ministerial leadership the committee will seek to bring to us. 

To gather your input and ideas for this important process, the Search Committee is sponsoring a luncheon at which your attendance is highly encouraged.  The luncheon, which will follow the worship service, has been scheduled for March 4, 2012, in the fellowship hall.  During the luncheon you will have the opportunity to discuss and complete a Congregational Survey that has been developed by the Search Committee. 

As already mentioned, you are encouraged to participate in this important luncheon.  If you do plan to attend, please bring a salad or dessert to complement the main course, which will be provided.  Also, it is important that we know how many plan to be in attendance, so if you do plan to attend please notify the church office by phone at 624-8695 or by email at tucsonfcc@gmail.com.   Your participation in this process is greatly appreciated and is an essential part of this important process.
