I am grateful to everyone for the wonderful surprises, gifts, and affirming words offered during Pastor Appreciation Month. The treats were wonderful and the tea tasty. The basket with pampering products has been fun, and I look forward to using the notebook, pens, pencils and other items. Each week has brought a fun surprise during worship and at home, and Saturday did as well. The little sheep in our yard were a great reminder of the wonderful community that is First Christian Church.
Thank you for your notes, cards, and prayers. Most of all, thank you for being a people open to God’s spirit and guidance in this time. While none of us can know what the future will bring, we do know that God is and will be with us. We know that the Spirit’s work of peace, justice, and liberation never ceases. I am honored to serve with you as we seek to live in this way.
