As God’s creation made in God’s image, we are designed as whole beings. Every part of us—mind, body, spirit/soul, heart—matters, and through our being we are meant to experience life to the fullest. On Mental Health Sunday, our guest, Joselyn Spence, talked about available resources that can help us attend to our well-being. The first resource offers some Distress Tolerance Skills one can use in big and small situations that can affect our emotions and mental wellbeing. The other resources address more specific situations such as grief and depression, how to seek professional help, trauma, anxiety, and other areas. You may have seen some of these resources when they were included in previous emails.
